FinalFantasy-XIII.net: The Tokyo Game Show began today and although we were told otherwise beforehand, Final Fantasy Versus XIII has made an appearance.
While I was browsing through the Square Enix TGS site, I discovered something nice for Final Fantasy XIII fans. Like last year, people will get a sample cd when they buy something at the Square Enix Music stand. It looks like there will be multiple music tracks for Final Fantasy XIII on the disc. The CD will also feature music tracks from FF:CC Crystal Bearers (26/11/09, Japan) and Final Fantasy Gaiden (29/10/09, Japan).
In an interview with this week's Famitsu magazine Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show as part of Square Enix employing a new strategy at the popular show.

According to Nomura, many of the rendering and shading tools used in the development of FF Versus XIII were used to polish Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. The film's team wanted to use more advanced techniques and tools than those available when the film was first produced, and Versus XIII's tech met the team's standards. Now this may be a stretch, but it's as if Nomura is hinting that the quality of visuals behind Final Fantasy Versus XIII may come close to replicating certain aspects of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

The Final Fantasy XIII demo has been delayed about a month from it's expected release to April 16. The Japan only demo comes packaged with movie spin off of Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children, on Blu Ray. Square announced earlier today that Advent Children would be released April 16, which subsequently delayed the demo's release as well.
