The PlayStation Blog has posted a load of photos from its God of War community meet up, which took place at GDC yesterday. And from the looks of it, there were plenty of Kratos masks to go round.
That's a pretty gangster looking bunch of mid-80s hip hop album cover bad-asses right there. Let's hope they didn't get drunk and rip off any heads.

It's difficult to talk about the upcoming modern-day Medal of Honor reboot without making comparisons to the Modern Warfare series, so we won't (we don't like difficult things). Modern Warfare 2 is immensely polished and popular, but it does suffer from cheap tricks which unbalance the multiplayer modes, a slew of glitches, and a campaign that's riddled with plot holes and accelerates like a Toyota. Will Medal of Honor restore balance to modern-day combat? Here are a few reasons it might.

Grand Theft Auto invented the open-world crime epic and, even after a decade filled with countless imitators, Grand Theft Auto is clearly still the king of the genre. So how can you observe any new contender and not notice the differences or similarities? How can you write about any new contender without making the most obvious and interesting comparison?
Answer – you can't. Or at least I can't. So that's exactly what I did
Sony just unveiled the PlayStation Move to an excited GDC audience and the Déjà vu was absolutely palpable! You’d think with all the time and technology between the Wii’s 2006 launch, Sony would’ve floored the press with something new and exciting… then they rolled the sizzle reel featuring multiracial groups of thin people pretending to have fun and we knew it was all over.
If you've been waiting on tenterhooks for more news of Sony's enigmatic motion controller, wait no longer. The controller (formerly called Arc) was officially unveiled today as Move during Sony's press conference at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and shown off alongside a handful of games.
In practice, the Move was more or less exactly what we expected it to be: the PlayStation 3's answer to the Wii remote and Nunchuk, complete with games that look conceptually similar to Nintendo's showcase titles. Golfing, archery and, yes, boxing were all represented, albeit with a more clearly "mature" bent than Nintendo's Mii-infused minigames.
The Games Developer Conference is like an artsier E3 - more focused on the art and thought of making games than the hype that surrounds them. That said, Sony's taking advantage of having everyone on hand for GDC to spout some new knowledge about its wares. We hear they'll be talking about their motion control tech, but could there be more? 3D games are rendered with polygons - little shapes that form surfaces. You know this. UNLEARN EVERYTHING YOU KNOW! Or...not. Startup Unlimited Detail has instigated a minor internet brouhaha with a video which claims that they can do away with the imperfect polygonal approach and render scenes which contain an unlimited number of points ("infinite geometry!") by using a super-clever search algorithm which only processes what's visible to the player. And they sort of can. Sounds like brilliant, cutting-edge stuff, right?
