PS3 Feature | Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Nov 27, 2007 We know Naughty Dog love their franchises, first there was Crash Bandicoot then came Jak and Daxter and now, with the ending to Uncharted: Drakes Fortune giving more than a few hints that a sequel is on the cards, it seems its Nathan Drakes turn to be given the sequel treatment. But the ending of the game isnt all thats led us to believe that Drakes return is on the horizon. A recent piece of art work sent out by Sony came complete with a document entitled ‘Lost and Found ...

PS3 Feature | Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Our team has already reported (fairly positively) on hands-on play with Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune off the back of a press-only Gamer's Day earlier this week. Meanwhile, we've been busy grilling the game's director Amy Hennig for new information about the promising jungle shooter. In the exclusive interview she reveals - among other new game details - who the mysterious female character is, how the game will use the Sixaxis and where Uncharted fits in with Sony's Home online ...

PS3 Feature | Unreal Tournament III
22nd Nov, 2007 Oh PS3, you really must work on this tardiness. Youre a strong student with a lot of brains, and you can produce good work when you put your mind to it, but with this persistent lateness youre not only letting us down, but youre letting yourself down too. We know youve only just joined us and that youve had to take some time to settle in, but youre really going to have to start applying yourself from now on. Nagging teacher-speak aside, just what is it with PS3 release ...

PS3 Feature | Unreal Tournament III
Oct 26, 2007 Inside an office in sunny Raleigh, North Carolina, Epic vice president Mark Rein settles back into a comfy seat. "It all started way back in the stone age," he begins. "You know, Tim Sweeney started the company in his parents' basement in Maryland." Today Epic is out of the basement and has the two monster-sized games Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War (PC) in development. Outside of Mark's office, staff members play on the Epic basketball court, others help themselves to a ...

PS3 Feature | Unreal Tournament III
Epic's Unreal Tournament games have always been well populated with playable characters attached to teams/factions within the universe, and the likes of Malcolm have become icons for the series. The latest, Unreal Tournament III, is no different with six teams and potentially 24 characters lining up to be "possessed" by players when it launches in November. But what inspires the game's character designs? What does Unreal Engine 3.0 mean to Epic's character artists and will we truly be able to ...

PS3 Feature | Unreal Tournament III
Sony's annual E3 press conference opened with what could have been the biggest reveal of the entire show if it hadn't been leaked last week: the new $499 price of the PS3, as well as the introduction of a new $599 model that comes with an 80GB hard drive and a copy of online-enabled dirt racer Motorstorm. This left biggy-wig Jack Tretton (who began the event speaking through his character in the PS3 virtual world Home) to launch right into the publisher's game-centric, four-part ...
