It's
been almost a week since Canadian developer Silicon Knights reported significant layoffs at its Ontario-based studio, and now it appears
WB Games will soon be following suit in Seattle. Over the weekend,
the publisher confirmed it is cutting staff across its
three owned studios, which include Surreal Software (The Suffering),
Monolith Productions (F.E.A.R, Gotham City Imposters), and Snowblind
Studios (Lord of the Rings: War in the North)...
To promote the next set of downloadable content for F.E.A.R. 2, developer Monolith has released a sequel trailer to Miniature Replica Soldier. Due to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 today, the 'Armoured Front' pack, which is priced at 560 Microsoft Points, includes two new multiplayer maps and four new skins originally available with the Special Edition version of the game.
A second downloadable content pack for Monolith's horror-shooter F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin has been revealed along with an exclusive trailer.
