Eurogamer writes: "Far Cry 2 creative director Clint Hocking has confirmed that there will be no pre-release demo of Ubisoft's open-world shooter sequel. Or, "no, no demo" as he put it to us last week at the team's HQ in Montreal.
Don't let the crystal clear water and golden sands fool you: as far as the developer of Far Cry 2 is concerned, videogame tropical islands have become the imaginative equivalent of two weeks at Butlins.
Far Cry 2 will be at the Dreamhack festival on June 14th through the 17th in Jönköping, Sweden. Louis-Pierre Pharand and Julien Cuny will be there to present the game and to answer questions. You will be able to play and test the game.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer video for the upcoming Far Cry 2, via the Ubisoft video website, Uplay. The video is narrated by "Reuben Oluwagembi," a reporter from the game whose blog address flashes briefly around the end of the video. That's a cue to make us peek at it: reubenblog.typepad.com.
