4) Mutiny

Whiskey Company bears more than a passing resemblance to the Governator's team in the sci-fi flick Predator, with internal conflict rife within the group. Although Logan is the designated team leader, he’s screwed in the head (to say the least), with Jo Turok and crew clearly hating his guts. Luckily, Logan soon gets his at the hands of a rocket launcher, leaving our fave Native American to assume command and save the day…

3) Big bosses

The only boss battle we saw involved a gigantic eel (reminiscent of the Excalibur guardian in Tomb Raider: Legend). Wielding a flame thrower, Turok had to attract the beastie to various natural gas geysers before torching the place. Lovely wave effects and some intense scrapping convinced us that Propaganda have got something special.

2) Environment

By far the standout moment in our Turok presentation involved the arrival of - who else? - a massive T-Rex (who craps all over the one in King Kong ). Cue screams of panic from baddies, especially when we lured him over to them via crafty use of our bow and some flares. It’s all about using the dinos to your advantage, see. Propaganda claims Rexy’ll react organically, so you might not always be so lucky…

1) Scarface

Could this mutated freak be Turok’s final boss? This near-invincible T-Rex, covered in what look like acid burns, is no ordinary dino, and it'll crop up throughout the adventure. How on earth are we going to take it down? Looks like he might also be involved in some kind of Jurassic Park -style chase...
