7) Stealth kills

You can either charge in all guns blazing or adopt a sneaky approach. "Stealth" involves taking baddies out rapidly and efficiently using either Jo’s bow or knife. But Turok boasts advanced AI: enemies wielding powerful weaponry are bolder, while regular grunts are more cautious.

6) Dynamic foliage

One amazing tech demo showed off Propaganda’s proprietary "dynamic foliage." In this case, a stretch of grassland populated by a pack of snarling raptors. Those clever fellas hunted us down as a team, a truly horrific experience! The only downer is you can’t actually mow down trees and bushes, like in Crysis or Haze...

5) Big guns

We’ve already seen the shotgun, chaingun, SMG, railgun, pistol, knife, bow, taser and rocket launcher in action - though it’s looking likely you’ll only be able to carry two at once. A swanky riff on dual-wielding allows you to mix ‘n match weapons, while guns also boast dual functionality - i.e. the shotgun doubles as a flare gun, which can be used to set foes alight, divert dopey dinos or simply light the path ahead…
