The Top 7... Nudity You Didn't Notice

Look closer - gaming is even naughtier than you think

Words: Charlie Barratt, GamesRadar US

Taboo was an old NES game that could supposedly read the future. You entered your name, gender, date of birth and a question, then watched as magical and mysterious cards revealed the events to come. The whole thing seems pretty stupid nowadays, but to a young and impressionable kid playing in the '80s, Taboo's word was gold.

So imagine how many adolescent minds were blown when the tarot symbols started transforming from this...

Into this...

Yeah. We're STILL waiting for that naked chick riding a lion to come into our lives. Damn it, Taboo, you promised!

Rampage World Tour (1997)

Taboo wasn't the only game that tried hiding nudity by making it really, really small. If you remember Rampage, you'll also remember how the huge, destructive monsters warped into itsy bitsy humans whenever they received too much damage. You may even remember those humans being naked. What you probably don't remember is how, for a split second, those tiny exhibitionists flashed more bits and pieces than a Playboy magazine cover.

Trust us, little dudes - we're just as horrified as you are.
