Cast your eyes over San Vanelona - SKATE’s fictional, open-world city that captures the best elements of San Francisco, Vancouver, Barcelona, the Hoover Dam and New York’s financial district. An ultimate playground.

1) City district

NY and LA’s real-life financial districts are packed with hand rails, smooth marble ledges, rolling banks and absurd skateable sculptures - plus high security.

2) Mini-suburbia

Porches, miles of curb and lines of parked cars? We’re thinking that this is where SKATE will start, but don’t quote us on that. Should be ideal to practice.

3) Highway

We’re not sure if you can “skitch” cars like Tony Hawk, but you will be able to power slide through racing traffic - just riding around without tricks should be fun.

4) Galleon

The developer’s claim there’ll be no objects you wouldn’t skate in real life - so the boat is out. But you can expect harbor-side skating, while dodging pedestrians.
