Exclusive: Want your name read out in Resistance 3? GamesRadar can make it happen

Would you like to appear in Resistance 3? What a stupid question. Of course you would. Well, if you come up with a funny caption for an image from the game we can help put you (well, your name at any rate) in the upcoming alien shooter. All the details below.

Above: Yes, your name could soon be read out in Resistance 3 if you make with the lolZ

Right, here’s how it works. We’re teaming up with Sony to give you the chance to have your name read out during Insomniac Games’ threequel. All you have to do is come up with a clever ofhumorous caption for a Resistance 3 screen on ourFacebook pagethatmakes our collective funny bones lol.

We’ll pick thebest one, then the winner’s name and hometown will be read out by one of the game’s voice actors during the alien-murdering FPS. Here’s an excerpt of what will be read out in the final game…

“This is [Enter name] from [Enter location]. I’m with [Enter Friend/Family Name – 1] and [Enter Friend/Family Name – 2]. We made it to the police station. There are guns here. And lots of ammo. If anyone else in or near [Enter location] and is still alive, come join us. We need your help.”

Pretty exciting, eh? Now for some boring details...

  • The winner will not be asked to record his/her own voice, only to provide his/her details.
  • The winners details will be recorded by voice actors for the final game.
  • The winners details will then be part of the final retail game in your territory.
  • There is no visit to the studio necessary or any further action required from the winner.
  • The winner must be over 18.

Yes, sadly we're limiting this to UK residents only. But with that out of the way, it's time to screw on your best captioning hat and get visiting our Facebook page to see the Resistance 3 image we'd like you to attribute some funny words to.The closing datefor captions isFebruary 16 at 12pm.
