NextGen Player writes: After reading a post on Cheap Ass Gamer, it looks like there are some pretty good deals at HMV if you look deep enough. On their website there are a number of value priced games that certainly seem reasonable if you're in the market.

Sony Computer Entertainment has announced its new line up for the budget priced PS3 the Best brand. That line-up includes: Afrika Uncharted LittleBigPlanet Gundam: Target In Sight Eternal Sonata Ridge Racer 7 All these games will be out on September 3 for the equivalent of US$31 - save for Eternal Sonata, which is priced at $39.

Eurogamer: Atari has whipped out the calendar and circled February dates for Eternal Sonata PS3 and Family Ski & Snowboard. The Japanese role-playing game will be with us on 13th February, which is well over a year after the Xbox 360 release. However, developer tri-Crescendo has used the extra time productively, adding new quests, battles and even multiple endings.

ATARI recently announced their overview of upcomming 2009 game releases including dates.

Atari's confirmed the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata for European release in February 2009.

That Aussie Game Site have wrapped up the day in games reporting on Bungie's Kojima talent aquisition, new DLC for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and a swag of demos coming to the PSN. They've also got information on the free DLC for Gears of War 2, information regarding the Resistance 2 Beta, Dead Space colour-coded suits and a bunch of new media for Tom Clancy's End War. What a day!
