PsB: Tsubasa here. I'm excited to announce a new update, coming June 18, for my favorite PSN puzzle game - echochrome! The update is for the PS3 version (The game was released last year for both PS3 and PSP. Both versions are available now for $9.99 each). We've added a ton of new features to the game since last year's launch, including Trophies.

TheSixthAxis: Well it seems that the EU Echochrome trophy patch has gone live today. Simply load it up, install update 1.01 (which is less than 7MB) and off you go. Apparently you'll need to delete your existing save data, like all other patched games, which it actually seems to do for you.

Tatsuya Suzuki and Jun Fujiki, lead developers on the PSP and PlayStation 3 puzzler echochrome, announced that a 2D version of the game is coming to PlayStation Home at an unspecified date. Instead of tapping into the PS3's 4D capabilities, the Japan Studios team is going in the other direction, presumably adhering to their gameplay credo of getting people to play with rules and laws. According to a report from Develop, the two had little else to say about the next version of echochrome (obviously not pictured), focusing on the development of the first, 3D title. Yup, that's all we got. How about those Cubs?
