Dragon Ball Raging Blast

Even with 70 characters, HD visuals and very destructible environments, this is just more of the same from the DBZ series and is too closely aimed at Dragonball fanboys.

Sorry Dragon Ball Z. These titles are a unique presence on the fighting calendar; an imposter of sorts. Squint and it almost looks like a beat-‘em-up: meaty roster, health bars, combos and counters; people could fall for it. Boot it up and the facade thuds to the ground. Throw a punch, sure, but only if Dragon Ball lore foretells it. You see, Raging Blast is less a brawler than a historical re-creation simulation. ...

also, why do they have to have the 1,2,3,4,5 chain punch attack? what ever happened to the non-stop action from the animated series? why cant i just continuously keep pressing square and he wont stop punching? i mean i know you cant be cheesy but lets say you where able to keep pressing X....you know to evade just like in the animated series, we want the non stop action, not the punch, punch, punch, punch,STOP,fly over to opponent and do the same thing...HOW in the world can we as gamers get what we would like in our games to game DEVS? i mean ok i know they have to follow certain guidlines but have you ever once had a game DEV ask you what you would like to see in their game?

I mean the DBZ game series would be a great place for devs to ask gamers because they have released so many DBZ games......but the prob is they keep rehasing the same game over and over and only change the visuals and characters .....non of the action....we want a change we want it to where if you punch an enemy through a structure the whole thing doesnt just BREAK we want to smash the guy into the rock and continue to beat him until he comes out the otherside....we want a change in the DBZ series of games....HOW do we as gamers get our voice heard by the DEVS??

sorry one more.

I know they have requirements that go into making a game and such but it would be great if they would actually ask the person who they are hoping will buy their product what they think might go great with this game, you know something we would like to see in their game.

i know they probably wouldnt do it but it atleast gives us the satisfaction of knowing we had our voices heard you know?

you guys have access to the inside so to speak..is there any way you can like make suggestions for games or is there any way you can let us in on a little secret that lets companies know what you think they should put in a game?

You know as well as i do that gamers want their voices heard and blogs and such things dont work. they never look on the blogs. soo how do we get DEVS and Game companies to hear our voices?

isnt it that the customer knows best? that the customer knows what the customer wants?(i know that sounds bland and cheesy but still)

thanks GR for reading...and First....(sorry had to)

i just hope someone out there gets what I'm trying to say.

Games Radar, is there any way to suggest ideas for games to game companies?

i mean dont get me wrong i like to play the dragon ball z games but idk they just dont feel 100% true to the anime

i mean i want a game where if you fire off a kamehameha err how ever you spell it and it actually rips through the ground tearing a small half pipe crater like it did in the anime, i want it to be full fleged fighting, no you do a combo or grab and it goes to an animated bit where they are fighting at a faster pace than you possibly can....Its gotta be constant you know what i mean?

and why wont they create an actual character creator? where we can like use that character maybe online or something and level him up and stuff like that.

idk sorry im just suggesting ideas, and i know these might not be GREAT ideas but sometimes us Gamers who dont have anyway to get ahold of big companies or game DEVs have great ideas and none of us know how to get them heard.

i like how this game is looking but in all honesty....they have been holding back.....they could do SOOO much more with the DBZ VG genre...i know they could.

thanks for listening to my long winded comment GR =]
