Fanboy petition incites Capcom response
"We're not denying DMC4 to anyone that was already going to get it" say Capcom

Believe it or not, there are people that actually hate it when a company decides to make a good game available to more gamers - as Sony fan boys demonstrated when they went nuts over Devil May Cry 4 coming to 360.
The most extreme of Sony fan boys decided they were going to boycott buying the game because of Capcom's "decision to turn [its] back on [its] most faithful gaming company."
Capcom has responded to the enraged gamers, saying: "We are certainly moved that people are so passionate about our products that they would go to such extremes.
"At the same time we feel that allowing more people access to our content pleases far more people than it displeases (after all, we're not denying DMC4 to anyone that was already going to get it). It really is the best decision for the company and for consumers."
Well said. The PS3 version is STILL coming out and you will STILL be able to buy it. What's wrong with Capcom spreading the love (and making more green on the side)?
