There were rumors that the Blu-ray release of Resident Evil Extinction would include playable demos of Resident Evil 5 and Devil May Cry 4. Capcom shot down the rumor today via the Capcom Unity Blog.
Sony will update the Sony Firmware so that its Blu-ray player can read Blu-ray Profile 1.1 discs in time for the USA release of Resident Evil Extinction on the 2nd of January 2008. The Blu-ray movie is expected to be the most advanced blu-ray disc it will feature true picture in picture and 'Blu-Wizard 2' which will allow your player to 'remember' your viewing preferences for the movie, even after you have ejected it.
Capcom's upcoming Devil May Cry 4 is going to be one big game once it launches for the PS3 and Xbox 360 next year. At one gaming convention though it seems that the PS3 version is in higher demand.

Timed perfectly to make up for Metal Gear Solid's delay to the second quarter 2008, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals that Capcom will be filling in the gap with Devil May Cry 4. Previously without a finalized date, the multiplatform face off with Dante and Nero will hit Japan on 1/31/2008 at a price point of 7990 yen.

The highly anticipated Devil May Cry 4 immerses gamers in a gothic supernatural world, where a new protagonist clashes with series mainstay Dante. As new leading man Nero players will be able to unleash incredibly powerful and stylish attacks and non-stop combos using a combination of the Devil Bringer arm and the Exceed system, both of which are new gameplay mechanics for the series. Capcom's booth at TGS this year was all about three games--Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, and We Love Golf, with those three games taking up the most real estate at the large booth.
Yesterday, IGN mentioned that the floor demo at this year's TGS for Devil May Cry 4 isn't particularly new by any stretch of the imagination.
