If you visit the Gaming portion of the Blu-Ray website, you'll actually see a nice description of one of the things that makes the Blu-Ray a potential winner in the households: games. The problem arises when you take a look at the latter portion of their write-up.

They list a bunch of titles which they say are CURRENTLY available for the PlayStation 3. None of those games are on disc, unless you count the handful of unfinished copies being made by different production companies as we speak. They also mention Tekken PS3, which could also refer to the PlayStation Store version of Tekken or the unreleased Tekken 6. In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Mark Beaumont, executive VP Capcom and newly appointed head of consumer software in Europe, revealed that Devil May Cry 4 will be released on the PlayStation 3 this "autumn".

Rumors have been been flying around the internet recently about confirmation from PlayStation Magazine that Devil May Cry 4, playable since TGS 06, would be coming to the Xbox 360.

A recent poll on the official Capcom website suggests that gamers are most looking forward to Resident Evil 5. Out of the five options to choose from, RE5 received over 50% of the total votes. Devil May Cry 4 was second with just over 20% of the votes followed by Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii with 17%.

The rumours about PS3-exclusive games that might also come to Xbox 360 keep on coming. After recent messages about Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, this time it's Tekken 6 whose exclusivity is taken into doubt.

According to "sources within IGN" (the same source who said VF5 would come to Xbox 360) Namco is currently working on a Xbox 360 version of Tekken 6, that would appear winter 2007, just short after the PS3-version.

Is Tekken 6 the next exclusive Sony is going to lose and where will it stop? Will Sony have any exclusive important franchises left at the end of 2007?

1) RECORD LIVE TV
You can use the PS3's hard drive to record live TV. With any luck, we'll be able to record whole series with the flick of an analogue stick. And adverts will go the way of the diplodocus, too.

2) PUT YOURSELF IN THE GAME
With camera game EyeDentify on the way, we know that getting your image into games is going to be a big part of PS3 play. But we've only scratched the surface. How about an online avatar with your face, that updates in realtime from Eyetoy? The possibilities are endless.

3) STOP SHARING THAT TINY SCREEN
Muddy split-screen modes with hazy horizons and perpetual pop-up are a thing of the past with PS3. With two high definition TV outputs, you can each have your own massive, incredibly detailed screen. 4) CONNECT TO PSP
With a PSP in your pocket, you'll be able to talk to PS3 in so many ways. Whether it's using PSP to control PS3 games, uncovering new modes with some kind of as-yet-unimagined dual-screen crossover, or swapping saves and custom levels, it's all as simple and easy as pressing the X button.

5) CREATE YOUR OWN SUPER COMPUTER
Stick two or more PS3s in the same room and link them up through one of the fat Ethernet ports at the back. They'll talk to each other instantly and combine their power to make amazing game experiences. So why not buy two PS3s? Or more...

6) BREAK IT APART

A page in the Capcom 2006 annual report which is about the company's new mulit-platform strategy mention the game Devil May Cry along with Resident Evil. Most anticipated has to be Devil May Cry 4 for the PlayStation 3. Since the game was revealed several E3s ago very little has been seen, but over the last week new images and info have been filtering through. Capcom has stated that although playable at the show, they'll only be putting the game on 12 demo units, so be prepared to wait to get some hands-on time.
