PS3 News | Devil May Cry 4
Believe it or not, there are people that actually hate it when a company decides to make a good game available to more gamers - as Sony fan boys demonstrated when they went nuts over Devil May Cry 4 coming to 360. The most extreme of Sony fan boys decided they were going to boycott buying the game because of Capcom's "decision to turn [its] back on [its] most faithful gaming company." Capcom has responded to the enraged gamers, saying: "We are certainly moved that people are so passionate ... » Read More

PS3 - Devil May Cry 4 - Devil May Cry 4 Goes Multiplatform The PS3 lost another exclusive title. Now, Xbox360 and PC players will be happy to know that Devil May Cry 4 will be available for their platform along with the PS3 version.

::Here is the translated version of the document::

¡¡Capcom Co., Ltd., a world-wide leader in the gaming industry, is proud to announce the development of "Devil May Cry 4" for the PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

¡¡"Devil May Cry" is a series of popular, stylish action games, with a cast of unforgettable characters. Since the release of the original "Devil May Cry" in 2001, the series has shipped 6,800,000 copies as of December 31st, 2006, proudly making it one of Capcom's flagship titles. The series appeal is not limited to games; an animated TV series to be broadcast on Japan's WOWOW network is slated to air Spring 2007. The latest iteration, "Devil May Cry 4" will take advantage of each platform's hardware strengths to achieve the most stunning visuals in the series to date, and the introduction of a mysterious new protagonist will keep the action fast and fresh. Even before its release, "Devil May Cry 4" has been met with tremendous anticipation, as fans patiently endured long lines at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2006 for the chance to play the demo. "Devil May Cry 4" will be released simultaneously for the PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

¡¡Capcom was among the first software developers in the world to make games for the next-generation consoles, and those efforts have been met with great success. In addition, Capcom's use of an integrated development environment is one of the many methods being employed to improve efficiency and help take advantage of the cutting-edge functionality in next-generation systems.

¡¡Capcom will continue to produce titles that appeal to users while pursuing a multiplatform strategy to...

PS3 - Devil May Cry 4 - Tekken 6 next PS3-exclusive that is coming to Xbox 360? The rumours about PS3-exclusive games that might also come to Xbox 360 keep on coming. After recent messages about Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, this time it's Tekken 6 whose exclusivity is taken into doubt.

According to "sources within IGN" (the same source who said VF5 would come to Xbox 360) Namco is currently working on a Xbox 360 version of Tekken 6, that would appear winter 2007, just short after the PS3-version.

Is Tekken 6 the next exclusive Sony is going to lose and where will it stop? Will Sony have any exclusive important franchises left at the end of 2007?

PS3 News from N4G | Devil May Cry 4
PS3 - Devil May Cry 4 - 31 Ways The PS3 Will Change Your Life CVG have come up with 31 different ways that the PS3 can rule the gaming universe. Can you think of any more?

1) RECORD LIVE TV
You can use the PS3's hard drive to record live TV. With any luck, we'll be able to record whole series with the flick of an analogue stick. And adverts will go the way of the diplodocus, too.

2) PUT YOURSELF IN THE GAME
With camera game EyeDentify on the way, we know that getting your image into games is going to be a big part of PS3 play. But we've only scratched the surface. How about an online avatar with your face, that updates in realtime from Eyetoy? The possibilities are endless.

3) STOP SHARING THAT TINY SCREEN
Muddy split-screen modes with hazy horizons and perpetual pop-up are a thing of the past with PS3. With two high definition TV outputs, you can each have your own massive, incredibly detailed screen. This is going to be just awesome for shooters - no more peeking at your mate's half of the screen to see where he's lurking.

4) CONNECT TO PSP
With a PSP in your pocket, you'll be able to talk to PS3 in so many ways. Whether it's using PSP to control PS3 games, uncovering new modes with some kind of as-yet-unimagined dual-screen crossover, or swapping saves and custom levels, it's all as simple and easy as pressing the X button.

5) CREATE YOUR OWN SUPER COMPUTER
Stick two or more PS3s in the same room and link them up through one of the fat Ethernet ports at the back. They'll talk to each other instantly and combine their power to make amazing game experiences. So why not buy two PS3s? Or more...

6) BREAK IT APART
If you want to show off that custom level you just created, simply unclip the hard drive from the side of the PS3 and take it round to a fellow gamer's place. Plug it in, and presto! You've got gigabytes of characters, levels, mods and custom items to share.

7) DEFEAT THE HELGHAST
If th...
