In Icon’s “Build a Label” (career) mode - you can make up your own character from scratch using the brilliant character creation tools while charting your story from low-life to hip hop icon, with you busting some skulls along the way for good measure.
Even at this early stage (there are tons of bugs and glitches right now) you can tell there’s a brilliant fighter in here. Bringing the Fight Night people on board has made a massive difference, not just visually, but in adding a level of depth that’s been missing from the previous games - this is no button-masher. We have to admit, the whole “fighting to the beat” concept, along with the scratching feature, is tricky to come to grips with, but there’s no arguing it helps set it apart from your usual fighter.
