After two games in the classical Wild West setting, Ubisoft and Techland decided to move the third installment into the modern day, with Call of Juarez: The Cartel. They won't discount going back to the classical Wild West with future titles though.
Kotaku: Ubisoft dropped us a line today to let us know that both console versions of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood have patches waiting for them, improving multiplayer connection and balancing.
Early Monday morning, game publisher Ubisoft announced that the patch version 1.1 for the PC version of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is available for download. Patch 1.1 significantly improves the multiplayer experience on Windows-based systems: Spy, Gunslinger, Hombre, Veteran and Sniper classes have been balanced to offer the best multiplayer gunfights. Ubisoft is also working on versions of the Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood patch 1.1 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Those updates will be released in the upcoming days.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has been deemed a worthy shooter, in a genre that's over-flooded with titles. Right now one retailer is wrangling $20 off the price of the 'Wild-West' shooter. Take this chance to lasso in a good deal.
El33tonline writes: The Xbox LIVE service has just been graced with a demo for the excellent Western-themed first-person shooter, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.
GamesTM issue #86 hit store shelves with some interesting review scores, including a 5 out of 10 for the generally well received Tales of Vesperia, and a dismal 3 out of 10 for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game movie tie-in.
TVGB: For a number of hours yesterday morning the first Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood multiplayer DLC was available as a free download on Xbox LIVE. Unfortunately, this was not Ubisoft changing their mind and releasing the new maps free of charge but simply a little mistake on someone's part.

On the other end of the spectrum is the humdrum DLC from Guitar Hero World Tour releasing only one track. Lastly we are hearing that Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack will be dropping this week.
