The Call of Duty World at War Companion is an app for your iphone that keeps you in the war when your away from your console. Features stats tracking, friends list, leaderboards, and all the latest news the Call of Duty world has to offer.

Back when Infinity Ward first revealed the special editions for Modern Warfare 2, little was mentioned about Call of Duty Classic, a downloadable version of the original Call of Duty game released in 2003.
You heard right – Map Pack 3 will be available via Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Playstation Store August 6th, 2009 – that's next Thursday! It will cost 800 Microsoft Points, or $9.99 on the PlaystationStore; be sure to get your Microsoft points early as it should be a hot-ticket item come Thursday.
Activision and Treyarch have released the Der Riese Zombies Trailer which features zombies dogs.

Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 is coming in August featuring three multiplayer maps (Battery, Revolution and Breach), co-developed with partner Certain Affinity and one new Zombie map (Der Riese).
Reinforcements are scheduled to arrive for one of the most-played online multiplayer games, as Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and developer Treyarch, confirmed plans today to deliver Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3 in August.
The figures, compiled by GfK Chart-Track, show family-oriented and educational games have become the most popular with the UK public. With combined sales volumes of 1.65 million units, Nintendo's Wii Fit, Wii Play and Mario Kart Wii titles equate to 72% of the top five 'best sellers' chart. The period also saw total sales of Nintendo's Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training surpass the three million units mark to become the UK's most popular game ever.
Callofduty.com writes: "To celebrate Independence Day here in the US (aka July 4th) we have decided to run Double-XP next weekend. It will begin July 3rd @ 10:00AM PST, and end July 6th @ 10:00AM PST. This will be for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PC and of course this Double-XP is available worldwide!"

Friday, June 26 at 12:00pm PST kicks off the inaugural Call of Duty: WaW Weekend Warrior competition, in which participating soldiers battle for top ranking. Those soldiers that are skilled enough to rank at the top of the leaderboards earn top prizes for their valorous efforts. Last week marked the release of the Call of Duty: World at War DLC, Map Pack 2; following the stellar performance of Map Pack 1, which has sold over 2 Million units!
