Big changes for Call of Duty 4 multiplayer

"Cool changes" coming with new update

Dec 17, 2007

Infinity Ward is making several changes to Call of Duty 4 multiplayer in an update this month that'll be applied to both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

Scanning down the list of updates it's clear that the majority of changes concern new maps being added to playlist rotations for multiplayer game modes - Team Deathmatch, Sabotage, Free-For-All etc, etc.

The developer's also bumping up the number of spawn start locations in all multiplayer maps and optimising Sniper Rifle/ACOG Scope Accuracy and fixing bugs in a separate patch that should be out this month.

On top of that lot, Infinity Ward's adding Kill Cam to every weapon in the game, meaning you'll now be able to do the likes of follow bombs from plane to target with air strikes.

The full lists of what's in the pipe can be found here.

Call of Duty is one of 2007's finest first-person shooter experiences. Go read a review to find out why (if you haven't played it already).
