PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Does Killzone 2 take Call of Duty 4's Crown? It only took me two hours to come to the conclusion that Call of Duty 4 was finally trumped as king. My decision based upon writing this article fell only on the reason that I want every FPS fan to play this game. If you do not have a Playstation 3, and you love FPS, now is the best time to go ahead and pick one up, along with a copy of Killzone 2.

"This is a fairly unique social media experiment in terms of using it to solicit feedback for game design", community man Fourzerotwo said of the app. "So any comments, suggestions, or feedback on how to make the #MW2 app even better is always appreciated."

PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Why BAFTA included COD4 in 2008 Awards Gamezine: BAFTA explains the inclusion of the 2007 title, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, in the 2008 Video Game BAFTA Awards, as well as the reasoning behind the limited nominations for Metal Gear Solid 4.

If you have a gander at the released nominations for the 2008 BAFTA Video Game Awards, you might find it odd that the game with the most nominations is Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - a 2007 game. This meant that 2008's Call of Duty: World at War was missing from the list.

PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - The 28 Best FPS Games From the dystopian corridors of BioShock's subterranean "paradise" to the Strogg-infested space stations found throughout the Quake franchise, First Person Shooters have found countless ways to establish themselves as rich, enjoyable experiences, capturing the hearts and trigger fingers of gamers worldwide.

Even if it's just blasting away wave after wave of demons in Blood, or perhaps saving mankind from itself as you traverse Half-Life 2's City 17, the FPS genre has proven itself time and time again.

PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Call of Duty 4 vs. Call of Duty WaW - Shootout PlanetXbox360: "With Call of Duty: World at War's initiation into the Call of Duty franchise, comparisons and preferences have been widely expressed and slung around unnecessarily frequently. Back when Call of Duty 3 came out, the talk wasn't nearly as heavy, and the winner of the battle was clearly Call of Duty 2 over 3 (or at least in my niche of friends). But now, Treyarch managed to, and I have no idea how, totally confuse the hell out of players as to the simple question of "which game is better." It's hard to say, really, since the two are, at their roots, the same game, albeit visual aesthetics are greatly improved and, well... all the inherit stuff that comes from being in World War II again.

There are differences between the two, though, some significant and some not, so I've made list of them. Since World at War is merely the same game with several new features in a blatant attempt to one-up Infinity Ward's game, I'll be structuralizing this list to display the best features; contrarily, for Call of Duty 4's list, it will be comprised of features that couldn't translate over to World at War; from either design choices, or being 70 years in the future, they will be mentioned."

PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Spielberg: No synergy between storytelling and gaming MCV Writes: US filmmaker confesses to FPS interest; reveals that his first gaming love was Pong

Acclaimed American film director Steven Spielberg has spoken at length about his seemingly deep interest in video games, but also criticised the way in which gaming still draws a huge dividing line between narrative and gameplay.

"I play a lot of action games," Spielberg told Yahoo!. "There have been a lot of games, including all the sequels for Medal of Honor, that I've really admired. I love the direction it's taken. I also like the competitive games. I'm currently playing Call of Duty 4. A lot of these first person shooters are very interesting.

"You know the thing that doesn't work for me in these games are the little movies where they attempt to tell a story in between the playable levels. That's where there hasn't been a synergy between storytelling and gaming.
