Call of Duty 4 has racked up 11 million unique players since launch on Xbox Live, and over 4 million on PlayStation Network, according to Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling.
It only took me two hours to come to the conclusion that Call of Duty 4 was finally trumped as king. My decision based upon writing this article fell only on the reason that I want every FPS fan to play this game. If you do not have a Playstation 3, and you love FPS, now is the best time to go ahead and pick one up, along with a copy of Killzone 2.

Infinity Ward have just announced that they have slashed the price of the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack by 50% to 400 points on the Xbox Live Marketplace as of right now while the PSN sale will begin on Thursday.

Infinity Ward has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not only getting a double XP weekend for Xbox Live and Playstation Network, but the "Variety Map Pack" will be for sale at 50% off, and there will be a new playlist called "Hardcore Headquarters".
