PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Call of Duty 4 sales over 7M Activision, Inc announced today that Call of Duty 4®: Modern Warfare was the #1 title in units worldwide for calendar 2007, according to The NPD Group, Chart Track and The GFK Group. Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty 4®: Modern Warfare has sold in excess of seven million units worldwide since its launch in November.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has garnered critical acclaim, securing more than 18 perfect score reviews and over 40 combined Editors' Choice and Game of the Year awards in the U.S. alone. The game has been nominated for 10 prestigious Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences awards, including Game of the Year. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare also currently is the #1 Xbox 360 title on Xbox Live, based on unique users, according to www.majornelson.com.

PS3 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Portal, BioShock Lead Game Developers Choice Awards Nominees Valve's Portal and 2K Boston/Australia's BioShock lead the nominees for the eighth annual Game Developers Choice Awards with five nominations each, including the coveted Game of the Year title, organizers have announced.

The Game of the Year category also includes Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4, which follows with four nominations and, with both games receiving two nominations each, Harmonix's Rock Band and Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy.

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) has unveiled the nominees for the 11th annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which will take place during The D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit 2008 on February 7 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. 2k Boston's BioShock, which already earned a number of Game of the Year awards from various publications, received an incredible 12 nominations across a variety of categories, including Game of the Year, in these peer-based awards. Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare also earned 10+ nominations.
