In a recent interview conducted by Gamepro, Ken Levine, one of the developers working on the game. Gamepro asked him if the game would ever be seen on the PS3, he did not confirm nor did he deny the possibility of the game on the PS3. However, he replied that "right now" are focused on the Xbox 360 version.

Yesterday's openly salvo of GameTrailers.com's "E3 Business & Media Summit Awards" offered up nominations and winners across various categories, such as Best Racer, Best Action Adventure, Best PSP Game, and Best DS Game. And, to be honest, the winners and loses didn't really throw up many surprises.
E3 is the biggest event in the gaming community, it has all the ingredients to make for a great event: mega-games, exciting announcements, upcoming titles, console rivalry, and much more. Not surprisingly, E3 was a big this time as well; what made the extra special is the fact that Sony had a point to prove to the world.
According to the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Bioshock is in development for the Sony PlayStation 3 console.

Irrational Games' sci-fi RPG shooter looks like it may be making its way to the PLAYSTATION 3, according to the all things PlayStation blog ThreeSpeech. In today's update on upcoming PS3 software, author Steve Boxer namechecks BioShock as one of the console's "promised future delights." So... confirmed? I stand behind a firm "maybe."
Official Playstation Magazine UK originally reported in its March issue that the previously exclusive Xbox 360 shooter, Bioshock, was "set to makes waves on PS3." They had no basis for this rumor, but it spread like wildfire regardless.
OPM UK have quite bluntly stated that the recently announced "Microsoft exclusive" will indeed be heading to the Playstation 3 in their March 2007 issue. Originally slated for Xbox 360, Vista and Playstation 3, Bioshock was shot down from the PS3 line up when Microsoft announced at CES that it would be a Microsoft exclusive.
Website Maxconsole had posted this page from the "current" issue of UK OPM magazine stating that Bioshock was coming to the PS3.

Spong.com claim they have received confirmation from Irrational that BioShock is also in development for the PS3 in the form of the first PS3 screens. This is something that most of us have been expecting, however there is something a bit fishy about these screens, and that is they look exactly like the two new 360 screens that was posted earlier today on several game sites? Who is right and who is wrong I guess we will know before the end of the day.
Innovative Shooter Wins 17 Awards and is Nominated for Four Best of Show E3 Game Critics Awards. 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. announced today that BioShock has received multiple nominations in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) Game Critics Awards and to date has won 17 E3 awards including a sweep of Best of Show awards from IGN, GameSpot, and GameSpy. BioShock is an innovative shooter in development at Irrational Games, a wholly owned 2K studio. BioShock will be available for next generation systems in 2007.
