The team that brought you critically acclaimed Bionic Commando Rearmed unites in new studio; Might&Delight. In august 2009, former game developer GRiN shut its doors. Today, the core team from the studio has revealed the launch of a new videogame developer.
Joystiq writes; GRIN may be no more, but some of the talent behind the studio is coming back. The team responsible for Bionic Commando Rearmed, arguably GRIN's greatest title, have announced plans to return to game development with a new studio: Might&Delight.
PlayStation LifeStyle writes, Capcom's pint sized Bionic Commando may have been ignored while it's bigger counterpart was released, but it appears developer Grin, has made good on the trophy promise. TheSixthAxis brings news on Capcom's progress with the patch to Bionic Commando Rearmed that adjusts the game's difficulty and brings trophies to the PS3.
Bionic Commando will be receiving an anticipated trophy patch. As well as this the game will get a 'Normal' difficulty setting which will make the game easier for beginners and people new to the series.
Sir Paul McCartney's ex contacted the publisher offering to promote the game, and demanded a six-figure fee and also suggested that a character based on her should star in the game. The producers, having finished the game, were apparently not keen and called the deal off.
Ve3tro writes: To celebrate the release of Bionic Commando on May 22nd, Capcom is pleased to announce that the digital download title - Bionic Commando Rearmed is now available for a limited period from the European PlayStation Store for only £3.99/€4.99. A 2-D side scrolling shooter, Bionic Commando Rearmed is a reworking of the original 8-bit title with brand new visuals, weapons and music plus the addition of 2-player co-op and some fiendish Challenge rooms. Players completing certain sections in Bionic Commando Rearmed will be rewarded by unlocking items in the full 3D sequel.
