Ever wanted to help name a trophy? Well here's your chance to help Aksys Games name 5 trophies in Battle Fantasia!
IGN writes: "Aksys Games, a publisher of interactive entertainment products, announces the arrival of Battle Fantasia, on PlayStation Network this coming Fall 2009. Developed by, Arc System Works, the creators responsible for the long-running fighting game franchise, Guilty Gear and the next-generation 2D fighter, BlazBlue. Battle Fantasia allows players to choose between twelve beautifully rendered characters designed by Emiko Iwasaki. Utilizing a unique blend of RPG-elements and high-level gameplay, Battle Fantasia will keep fighting game fans coming back for more."
Another fighting game from the makers of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue is coming to PSN. Battle Fantasia is a cross between a RPG and a fighting game. It comes out this fall.
Thousands of gamers, anime fans and cosplayers of widely varying quality descended on ExCel, an exhibition centre in London, for one of the biggest events in the collective industrys' calendar today, the 15th MCM Expo. Running for two days, 23rd May and 24th May 2009, those few Electronic Theatre readers who managed to miss today's show may just have enough time to organise the necessary travelling arrangements, and grab that Bomberman outfit they've been saving for a special occasion.
Last year Aksys brought Battle Fantasia to North America, but it was only for Xbox 360s here. Strangely, a PS3 version of Battle Fantasia exists - an English version of Battle Fantasia. Europe got it thanks to 505 Games.
505 Games today announced that Battle Fantasia, a unique all-action fighting game, is heading to the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® in Q1 2009.
The European PLAYSTATION 3 Support site contains a list of games that have DualShock 3 compatibility. In this list, we found a few games that bring up our interests:
Kotaku's Mike Fahey writes: "Arc System Works' latest fantasy fighting game is coming to the Xbox 360 this Fall courtesy of Aksys Games, the publisher that would have a much more interesting name if you just switched two letters."
