We dig into the many modes of WWE Smackdown! Vs RAW 2007
Oct 03, 2006
In our last hands-on with WWE Smackdown! Vs RAW 2007, we covered the known roster, the new analog control scheme and the tremendous variety of props and other implements of destruction you can use to obliterate your opponent. Our friends at THQ stopped by for another visit, but this time, they showered us with info on the newly redesigned Season mode, the General Manager mode and the Create-a-Wrestler mode (which you can witness first-hand if you click the Movies tab above).

Not the face! Things get hardcore in the newest SmackDown...

Though it's been cancelled for PS3, the good news is that SmackDown's forging ahead on every other format like an angry Viking - as shown when publisher THQ dropped by our office to demo the WWE SmackDown! vs Raw 2007's new features.
With only one new match type - the six-man Money in the Bank ladder match that's stolen the show at the last two WrestleManias - the focus this time has shifted firmly towards SmackDown's control system.

If any game were worthy of such treatment, it would be WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. Spanning five platforms and sporting a feature list almost as long as its title, this game has been putting some serious time in at the gym.
The SmackDown series - adding "vs. Raw" to the moniker back in 2004 - has become the franchise leader in wrestling games, WWE or otherwise. Now that

We go mano-a-mano with the Xbox 360 version of the next wrestling juggernaut
May 16, 2006
The still-in-progress WWE SmackDown! vs RAW 2007 was on display behind closed doors at E3, and GamesRadar got a firsthand look at the shiny new Xbox 360 version on Friday. What's more, we had a chance to step into Kurt Angle's boots and trade a few backhand slaps with (another journalist playing as) John Cena, and the game looks to be filling out nicely so far.
Admittedly, the 360's visuals didn't seem a huge improvement over the already-impressive PS2 SmackDown! vs RAW 2006, at least not at
