Twisted Metal coming to PS3, Jaffe confirms

Former God of War man David Jaffe has confirmed that he's bringing Twisted Metal to PS3.

It was thought this was the case, after gamers cracked a code appearing in Twisted Metal: Head On - Extra Twisted on PS2 which spelt out "Twisted Metal is on PSTHREE."

Judging by Kotaku's report on the confirmation of a PS3 version, it may be that it'll be released as a download. The site quotes Jaffe as saying "As for how it gets distributed, no comment," when queried about whether it'll come via disc or digital distribution.

Twisted Metal: Head On - Extra Twisted is a vehicle combat game, just in case you were unaware.
