Elsewhere, nice touches (like playing your way to the greatest golfer of all time in challenge matches against the likes of Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus; surprisingly aggressive commentary; and an-all-round less arcadey experience) certainly improve Tiger’s game. As you’d expect, all the game modes get a revamp and you’re treated to new courses including PC Sawgrass, Reflection Bay and a little place called Pumpkin Ridge GC.

As an overall package it’s hard to fault. But does this add enough to warrant purchase? You’ll either have owned a Tiger Woods or have a psychopathic dislike of all things golf. Trusting that you fulfill the former criteria, it depends how good you are.
