Spyro, the much-travelled purple dragon, will be returning this autumn for all present generation consoles, GBA and DS in Vivendi's The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. The game apparently "uncovers the true origin of Spyro the Dragon as he evolves into a living, breathing weapon of explosive destruction," which suggests that the action will be more dynamic than we've come to expect from the aging platform hero.
