First Tekken movie shots emerge (News)

The first glimpse of the Tekken movie has emerged online through a couple of photos revealing Marshall Law and Jin Kazama.

The movie is directed by Dwight H. Little, the guy responsible for the 1989 Phantom of the Opera movie with Robert 'Freddy' Englund and a handful of 24, Bones and Prison Break episodes. He also did a Steven Seagal flick called Marked for Death, so... expect a film of ...

Jet Li eyeing Tekken movie role (News)

Top Hollywood leapy kung fu loon Jet Li is reportedly considering a major role in the upcoming Tekken film. It's simply called Tekken at the moment, though we fully expect an 'Ankles of Furious Fury' style subtitle any time now. The movie is currently in pre-production - Tinseltown-speak for "What? I haven't started yet." The only other actor to be linked to the film is Brian J White, soon to be seen in upcoming big-screen game adaptations of Dungeon Siege and Dead or Alive. Tekken is due ...

Don't fret, Namco - those masters of arcade battery - haven't opted to make Tekken 5 into a Super Smash Bros style fury free-for-all. Instead these latest screens from the upcoming coin-op reveal a piratical version of Jack and a cartoon King complete with cutesy eyes and fluffy ears. Namco have released new screenshots of Tekken 5, the latest incarnation of the classic beat-'em-up series. Three old campaigners return to do battle once again in Tekken 5 and Namco have released artwork showing off their new (ish) look. Namco have released a slew of new shots of Tekken 5, the latest game in the classic beat-'em-up series. The roster of 31 characters so far includes Bruce Irvin, Anna Williams, Eddy Gordo plus an as-yet-unnamed sumo wrestler. Namco's recently released financial earnings statement has revealed a few details on the next instalment of Tekken.
