The best way to enjoy SSX 3 is as follows: Head to peak three. Set background music to ‘mountain ambience’ only. Commence carving the fresh powder. As far as I’m concerned, sliding your way from the top of peak three to the bottom of peak one is nigh on gaming perfection, and the closest you’ll get to the thrill of snowboarding without fear of smashing your body into tiny pieces when you hit a tree.

The thought of a proper new SSX usually makes me float off into the misty, unicorn-filled, soft-focus meadow in my head, and when I return, I'm always weeping slightly (albeit in a manly way). So Peter Moore is being all ambiguous again. This time though, my usual screening system for teasing corporate ambiguity has been bypassed. Because he’s been talking about SSX, EA's stunning snowboarding series. And despite having been spurned by the series for years, I am still in love with SSX. Hopeless romantic, stupid fool, crazy stalker, call me what you will. But I still await a new one.
