<br /> The nominations were for video games released between 2001 and 2009 and included several categories which ranged from Innovation in Game Play of the Decade to Lead Performance of the Decade in Drama. Team Icos PS2 classic Shadow of the Colossus beat out stiff competition to gain the Game of the Decade award.

Just like the Ico HD comparison video we put up today, the visual enhancements bestowed upon the PS3’s upgrade of Shadow of the Colossus are more than instantly apparent when you look out the SD and HD versions side by side. It’s more than the lack of fog and cleaner textures, right? Viz Media has officially confirmed the forthcoming release of an English language version of Ico: Castle of the Mist, the novelisation of the critically acclaimed videogame from Team Ico. While an official release date yet been announced, its currently expected that the novel will arrive alongside the release of the PlayStation 3 re-release of the game as part of the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus Collection.
If the Shadow of the Colossus film works, then big-screen adaptations of ICO and The Last Guardian may follow, movie-maker Misher Films has said.
