Successfully complete the game and save when prompted after the credits. You will be give a bonus item for every two Colossi defeated in Time Attack mode. Under the normal difficulty setting, the following bonus items will be unlocked, in order:

Whistling Arrow: Distracts a Colossus.
Cloak of Force: Sword damages a Colossus more
Mask of Strength: Inflict greater wounds to a Colossus.
Lizard Detection Stone: Detects white tailed lizards.
Fruit Tree Map: Reveals the Fruit Trees on map.
Mask of Power: Inflict greater wounds to a Colossus.
Cloak of Deception: Invisible to a Colossus.
Flash Arrow: Explodes when hits Colossus.

When playing Time Attack mode under the hard difficulty setting, the following bonus items will be unlocked, in order:

Shadow of the Colossus Hints

Easy Way to Kill the Last Colussus

Alright when you're battling the last Colossus, and you climb up on his back to stab him, his hand appears for you to jump onto. Now, normally your supposed to climb up his arm after stabbing his hand, but instead he should flail his hand to give you just enough time to jump on his head (it's easier if you have the Mask of Strength) or try to do a jump stab!

Secret Garden

Successfully complete all four modes and have a large amount of stamina. Then, climb the back of the temple you first started in. Climb up the ivy and follow the trail all the way up and around the ledge to the right. Jump across at the other end of the ledge to reach the next set of ivy. Continue on until you get to another ledge above that you must climb around. Once at the other side of this ledge, climb to the right then shimmy across another ledge that leads behind a column. Jump to the ivy-covered column, then continue climbing. The ivy will lead to a walkway. Climb the stairs and walkway to the left of the garden. A sequence will begin and the seventeenth Colossus will appear. Defeat the Colossus to open the path to the top of the temple. Note: Eating fruit from the trees in the garden causes damage.

End of the World

After you get to the secret garden specified above by others hints, go to the main door you see right when you get up there. Turn directly around and head down that huge bridge you came in on. It takes awile, but at the very end you will find a split between 2 rocks. If you try to walk into it, it will just blow you away.

The Secret Garden

After you beat the game four times go to the northeast end of the worship shrine about under the bridge. There will be a vine that is growing up the side climb it and find a ledge to the left climb another vine and you will be there. You have to beat it four times to get enough stamina.

Health Boost

Besides shooting lizards for a boost of health, you can also eat fruit by shooting them out of the trees with your bow. Some of these trees can be found in the northeast part of the map near where you have to go to get to the 14th colossus.

If you wait long enogh while fighting a collosus, Dorman will give you a hint on how to beat it. Sometimes it's hard to know what he's saying.

Eel Tip

When fighting the eel you have to remember if the eel swims to deep you can't hold on forever so let go. If you don't you will most likely drown.
