Sega is bringing 30 of its old-school classics to PS2 this autumn with Sega Mega Drive Collection and we've got a handful of fresh shots for three of the best - Sonic, Golden Axe and Shinobi III.

Thankfully, they're untouched by the 'everything must be updated in basic 3D' brigade that tarnishes so many other arcade collections. Hit the images tab for more.

With other seminal gaming landmarks like Altered Beast and Phantasy Star joining the impressive line-up, Sega Mega Drive Collection looks set to ignite an outbreak of irresistible nostalgia when it touches down in the shops later this year.
