Resident Evil 4 is the runaway leader of the GamesRadar Game of 2005 poll. Capcom's explosive sequel has collected almost a quarter of the total votes - currently topping 10,000 - and looks certain to still be miles ahead of the competition when the poll closes on Friday 6 January.

Far less certain is which game will pick up second place with Call of Duty 2, Mario Kart DS and Pro Evolution Soccer 5 all vying for the runners-up or 'first losers' spot.

While it's unlikely that Resident Evil 4 will be caught, there's still time for you to register a vote if you haven't already; you'll find the poll on the right-hand side of this page.
