GameTap has just released Psychonauts through their free-to-play service which you can find here. It came from the mind of one of our favorite game designers, Tim Schafer, and was one of the best games that hardly anyone has played. If you missed out this fantastic title, do yourself a favor and give it a whirl.

According to our contact at GameTap, they're trying to promote their free-to-play service by making more marquee titles like Hitman: Contracts and Sam & Max Episode 4: Abe Lincoln Must Die!  The titles available to play through their service change on a weekly basis, but Psychonauts will most likely be available for another month or so.

Psychonauts' designer, Tim Schafer earned his stripes at LucasArts where he worked on memorable adventure titles like Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, and Grim Fandango. Today, he's working with Jack Black on Brutal Legend. Click here  to check out our latest preview.
