PS2 - PlayStation 2 - EA's PS3 software sales up 192% For Electronic Arts, PlayStation 3 software led the way in terms of net revenue growth during the company's fiscal Q4.On a GAAP basis, EA's PS3 software net revenues were $152 million, a year-on-year increase of 192 percent during the quarter ended March 31, the firm said in its earnings report. A new study from the NPD Group has found that 72 percent of Americans play videogames, but the research firm says online gaming is still not fully addressed. EA's conquest to buy GTA IV publisher Take-Two has stepped up a gear as it extends a tender offer directly to Take-Two shareholders, following the company's rejection of its original offer.
