Phantasy Star Universe gets its first update

Christmas comes early with new missions, advanced class types, weapons and TECHNICs

Christmas will come early this year for die-hard Phantasy Star Universe fans when the game's first update launches on December 8.  Expect a challenging new Guardian Mission as well as several S-Rank Missions for high level characters. You'll also be able to pump your online character up with new skills and seven new Advanced Class types. By choosing a new Advanced Class type, you'll be able to further refine your character's specialties and level them up to be able to use more powerful A and S Rank weapons.

Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

Seven new Advanced Class types will be available for Guardians
New Weapons including Claw and Crossbow types
New Photon Arts and TECHNICs
New SUV Weapons
A and S Rank weapons
New Clothes and Parts
New My Room Decorations
New S-Rank missions for high level characters

If you're tired of delivering severe spankings to SEED with your maximum level characters and feel like you've run out of things to do or skills to learn, then this upcoming update might be the kick in the pants you need to get back online this Friday.
