No your eyes don’t deceive you, we have done Persona 4 once already as the Game Music of the Day, but that one covered the catchy and always welcome Battle Music. Today’s on the other hand covers the equally catchy intro song Pursuing My True Self, which explains via phat beats a game about Japanese teens going to other dimensions during a busy year of school work...

Splinter Cell: CONVICTION, StarCraft CORRUPTION, Halo 2 CREMATION, and several other C-words make up this week’s podcast...

The best battle music never gets old, but it’s so easy to forget about it. This single track is one of the most important and memorable pieces of music in every RPG. It’s what keeps you motivitated to hang in there for that one last quest before you reach that final save point after a long session of leveling up for the day. But most importantly, it’s what keeps you pumped up to fight again and again no matter how many times you beat down the same bad guys with the same party of characters - and when it comes to battle music, Persona 4’s got one of the best tracks of all time...

Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us and with its arrival comes the opportunity to capitalize on the human emotion that separates us from the robots: love. Don’t worry, we’re not going to show you sappy screenshots of Cloud’s date with Aerith or post printable cards of Princess Peach framed in a cheesy heart. There’s plenty of time for that later.

A short while back, we asked you GamesRadar readers to invent your personas – in other words, your demonic alter egos – and send pictures of them to us in exchange for a huge stack of Persona 4 goodies. It was a big success. Yes, some of you seem to have some serious issues hidden inside your minds, but whatever – you’ve also got some serious talent. Check out this menagerie of frightful greed. Or, head over

Has it really only been 12 months since the last avalanche of “Best Games of 200X” awards? Well, we all love a good list, and you won’t find a better barf bag of random praises than our own Platinum Chalice awards, the place to have someone else’s gaming opinions shoved upon you. How important are these awards? So important. Real important. What do the other guys have, gold trophies? Screw that.

Hey kid – want a free copy of Persona 4 for PlayStation 2? Well, of course you do! It’s a fantastic Japanese RPG with a wild story, great combat and a megafresh art style. It just came out, as anyone who gets publisher Atlus’ excellent newsletter already knows (you can sign up for it at www.atlus.com/faithful. We did).

2008 is nearly over, and thusly there aren’t as many new games to discuss. But fear not! We instead recount the prettiest (read: most colorful) games of the year, then ponder aloud how Nintendo was able to sell 800,000 Wiis last month (until we found it was actually 2.2 million) and subject you to an NES song so bizarrely long you’ll wonder how anyone could stand it.
