NHL 2K8

It can't go without mentioning that 2K8 is available for just twenty bones - a darn good value even if it were just a glorified roster update. There are still scads of people playing their PS2s these days, and we're pretty sure that plenty of them will have some fun getting down with a traditional hockey game. After all, it's just about the only new title on the market that longtime players will be comfortable with from the opening faceoff. Maybe we're just getting old and grumpy, but we do know what a good hockey game is all about, even if it doesn't rock our world with wild and glorified changes. Solid and straightforward, NHL 2K8 won't let you down.
