EA's just confirmed that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be delayed until next summer. The game will ship alongside the movie of the book, instead of releasing this winter.

"Harry Potter" is a series dictated by the most popular console. First, PS One. Then, PlayStation 2. For a while, Xbox 360. But now, Wii has taken over.

Making Wii the lead platform was the first decision that "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" executive producer Jonathan Bunney made when approaching the latest Wizard game.

EA has launched a fancy new website for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The website should be enough to please any Potter fanatic as it's littered with screenshots (some of which you can see right here), trailers and other things for you muggles to do while you wait for the final book. Codemasters has announced Heatseeker, an aerial combat game firing afterburners on Wii, PSP and PS2 in early 2007.

Strapping you into the cockpit of modern-day and near-future fighter jets, the title's very much an arcade experience with the publisher promising plenty of explosive destruction.
