Wednesday 27 June 2007 We have no idea what relation there is between Lara Croft, the Tomb Raider, and Lara Croft, the pretty lady who opens beaches. But we do know that we've been sent the pictures. Apparently Karima Adebibe, the delicious real-world edition of Miss Croft, was on location in Italy to open the country's first ever women-only beach. The ESRB (the men in suits that give our games their ratings) has updated its website to include five entries for the recently released Tomb Raider: Anniversary on PS2 and PC (PSP version to follow soon). PS2 - Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Another Tomb Raider Movie Possibility Tomb Raider creator Ian Livingstone revealed that Paramount Pictures are considering whether to make a follow-up to 2003's The Cradle Of Life which would have Angelina Jolie playing Lara Croft once again.

Livingstone who recently completed the latest game in the series, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, said that when Paramount see how successful the new game is it will show that the world is still interested in the franchise. That could be enough for the final go ahead to be given.

Considering the high percentage of bad game to movie conversions will gamers really be looking forward to seeing Lara Croft on the big screen once again?

Eidos has revealed the release date for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary. PC and PS2 versions of the remake will be in shops from June 1 while PSP owners looking get their hands on the small version will have to wait a little longer. PS2 - Tomb Raider: Anniversary - Tomb Raider: Anniversary dated for Europe Eidos has confirmed that the PC and PS2 versions of Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be out across Europe on 1st June.

However, a date is yet to be set for the PSP game.

Eurogamer had recently been led to believe it would be out towards the end of May, but a one week slip seems too insignificant to throw coffee over people about.
