PS2 News from N4G | Twisted Metal: Head-On
PS2 - Twisted Metal: Head-On - David Jaffe shows off Twisted Metal Black II was canned a couple of years ago, but some of its levels are still coming to the PS2, according to David Jaffe's blog.

The Eat, Sleep, Play video game designer writes that the PS2 port of Twisted Metal: Head-On will use some of the unreleased game's levels in a bonus feature called Twisted Metal: Lost. Jaffe even included some lost level screenshots. Though the images represent a work-in-progress with red bars as placeholders for things to come, the idea of all-new levels for this PSP-to-PS2 translation makes the title all the more tempting.

PS2 - Twisted Metal: Head-On - David Jaffe: Twisted Metal Doc Filming Now David Jaffe writes: "Ain't video chat great? I'm doing all the interview questions from home in San Diego while the camera crew films the guys responding out in Utah! Sweet!

I'll be doing my bit in LA next week, along with the co-writer of the Twisted storyline, and one of the key concept artists for the series (who is now a concept designer for Halo 3 at Bungie!)....plus it seems like we're gonna get some great fan videos coming in, so that- along with tons of old concept art, toys, video, and other behind the scenes stuff we've uncovered- should make for a good package! I'm jazzed!"

PS2 News from N4G | Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition
PS2 - Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition - Heavenly Sword's Nariko Action Figure Coming in July Gamervision: "Getting an early look at DC Comics' solicitations for February of next year sure has its advantages. One of them happens to be seeing just what their action figure plans are for the coming months. Well, next July, you can expect some really sweet ass figures based on Sony characters like Nariko and Sweet Tooth.

This won't be the first time that DC has plasticized Sony properties. The company's DC Direct branch already has plans for a Resistance 2 line, as well as a series based on Ratchet and Clank. We reported on those a while back, and I'm still looking forward to getting my hands on that Ratchet series this December. Why they're choosing for Nariko and Sweet Tooth to get figures this long after their last respective games have shipped is beyond me, but that's not going to stop me from getting my hands on both of them. That Nariko figure is particularly sweet, what with the flowing red hair and all. Not to take anything away from that Sweet Tooth figure, but I've got enough shirtless male gaming characters wielding knives adorning my desk as it is."

PS2 News | Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition
What do Solid Snake, Lara Croft and Samus Aran all have in common? They dress for success.
