Tekken 5 confirmed as PS2 exclusive

Namco's recently released financial earnings statement has revealed a few details on the next instalment of Tekken. Most notably, the console release of Tekken 5 will be a PS2-exclusive and will go on sale in 2005.The first official did state that the game was coming to consoles, which fuelled speculation that maybe, just maybe, it would make it to Xbox. The next game in classic beat-'em-up series Tekken will be unveiled for the first time at the E3 games show in May, according to unconfirmed reports that are currently doing the rounds.A coin-op version of the game will apparently be released first by Namco, with a PS2 version set to follow by the end of the year. Atari today announced their new releasedates for december 2006 and 2007. Most interesting is probably Alone in the Dark 4, the game is coming for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and good old Playstation 2 in March 2007.
