Rake out your PS2 next month - a game that doesn't involve singing or answering pointless trivia questions is coming out and it's bloody good.
If Persona 3 was one of your favorite games of 2007, this ought to come as welcome news. In Atlus' recent company profile, they mention several titles scheduled for next year, including a sequel to Etrian Odyssey and Persona 4. The latter is listed as a PS2 game however, so it looks like the title will not be making the jump to next-gen consoles.
The Wii, Xbox, GC and PSP versions of Madden 08 ¿ combined - accounted for fewer than 10% of the 1.6 million units sold while 360 version sold them most and 4 times the PS3 version.

Ahead of Activision's financial results next week, Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey has commended short-term revenue prospects, but commented that "emerging competition for some of [Activision's] core franchises, including Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk", may prove damaging for the company's long-term growth.
