MCV: Though many of the release dates to emerge from last month's Play.com Live have proven unreliable, the date hinted for Lego Indiana Jones has been confirmed Â¿ with the title is due for release in Europe on June 6th.

As per usual, the game will ship in North America on the preceding Tuesday, June 3rd. It is being released on 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, PS2 and PC.

The game itself is surely more or less complete, with it yesterday having passed the BBFC ratings test, unsurprisingly receiving a U certificate.

"'LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures' will feature the user friendly drop-in/drop-out two-player cooperative feature that players have come to know and love," the game's producer, Shawn Storc, said to MTV Multiplayer in an e-mail provided by LucasArts public relations. "However, we are not expanding this feature to a higher player count. I certainly do apologize for any confusion that has arisen; we must have been in a LEGO induced haze at the Collector's Party."
