A lot of games hit greatest hits level or even win several awards at every game show, but there is always one stage that only phenomenal games reach. Being converted into a novel for all new look at the world of whatever game it is. Halo has been there, Resistance recently entered the realm, and now God of War is heading our way!
As you may already know, a film adaptation of God of War is currently in development. At least one entertainment reporter got a chance to read the script and while he notes that it's "almost slavishly" true to the game, it differs in one important respect: the ending.
Sony surveyed potential God of War III fans this week about what they'd like to see in a collector's edition for the PlayStation 3 sequel, including repackaging the first two games on Blu-ray.

Fan response to the news was not positive, which is why you'll be happy to hear that Ratner is no longer pursuing the film.
