PS2 - Crash of the Titans - UK charts: Football Manager knocks FIFA off the top The Orange Box debuts at 3, Phantom Hourglass at 4

Sega's Football Manager 2008 has entered the UK's all-formats chart at number one this week, knocking EA's FIFA 08 off the top spot.

Accounting for 38 per cent of all PC titles sold in the past week, Sports Interactive's management sim is Sega's first multiformat number one title since last year's version of the popular football franchise.

PS2 - Crash of the Titans - Crash Bandicoot squares up his latest enemy: leukaemia Sierra and Vivendi have partnered up with the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society School & Youth program, providing the mug of Crash Bandicoot as its mascot. The scheme teaches children across America about community service and raises both awareness and money for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

GamerSquad can't decide whether the agreement is more a venture in shameless self-promotion for Crash or a genuine goodwill gesture. In either case there's no mention on the press release of either Sierra or Vivendi donating any of the profits from the game to what is without a shadow of a doubt a worthy cause.

Crash of the Titans, developer Radical tells us, "is not a kid's game." We might have to disagree. After all, Crash has always been a kiddie-friendly, non-edgy platform hero, and within two seconds of our latest viewing of the game Crash blew off a fart, seemingly for his own amusement. The Crash Bandicoot series has changed hands more than Blockbuster DVD, and with Radical Entertainment now heading up development they're reinventing the orange critter for his current-gen debut.
