Praise sweet zombie Jebus. We don't have to run any more 'ICO/Colossus rumoured for PS3 HD bundle' stories ever again. Huzzah! The rumours of the HD remakes of the PS2 classics have been floating around the land of the interwebs for months now and in this month's issue of Famitsu, the mag confirms they're happening. Interestingly, though, it's listed both games separately, which means you might yet be able to buy one or the other if you just want to murder massive monsters rather than drag a princess around by the hand like a small child throwing a strop. Head inside for the European box art...

Some people say you can have too much of a good thing, but we say they can bugger right off. A cake is good, right? But are two cakes bad? No, theyre just more cake, and we like cake so well take all we can get. Om nom nom. In gaming terms, the only thing better than a great videogame is a great videogame that acts as the start of a great franchise. Final Fantasy, Burnout, Super Mario Bros… We love them not only because theyre great but also because of what they later gave us. The only

During a presentation at CEDEC (a Japanese developer conference), Fumito Ueda was showing off The Last Guardian on a big screen and discussing animation in games. Exciting enough in itself, but before he got onto that, he gave a little recap. And the footage of Ico that he demonstrated was definitely not the PS2 version.

Please be true. Please be true. Please be true. If mega supermarket Wal-Mart's website is to be believed, we'll all be cuddling up to some HD ICO/Colossus goodness on our PS3s from April 1st 2011. The site, which is already taking pre-orders for the pack has stuck on the tentative release date on the game's page. Read below for some further insight into why we think the anticipated bundle will be announced at this week's Tokyo Game Show.

Here's a brief glance at a wish list we've cooked up in the last 15 minutes. 1) We really hope jet pack research is well under way, because we're sick to the back teeth of walking to work. 2) We want our own personal army of albino gorillas... possibly sporting jet packs. 3) We want The Last Guardian to make some sort of appearance at this month's Tokyo Game Show like you wouldn't believe. Sadly, it looks like we're shit out of luck on the gorilla front, so it's a good thing TLG head honcho Fumito Ueda has hinted his game may be at the show in some form.

Guillermo Del Toro, director of such popular and conspicuously arty movies as Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, has weighed in on the debate that will never, ever be settled to everyone's satisfaction, proclaiming that of freaking course games are art and anybody who thinks otherwise is a freaking moron. More or less...

Not only are ICO fans soon getting an HD upgrade of their favorite game, they're getting a full length novel - Miyuki Miyabe's 2004 novelization of the game will be available in English-speaking countries later this year...

When it was first announced, PS3-exclusive The Last Guardian was one of our most anticipated games of 2010, then one of our most anticipated for 2011, and now we’re really excited for it in 2012. But the delays and the fact that we hadn’t seen the game in a long time was starting to make us worried. And this new rumor floating around hardly comforts us, as Eurogamer reports the games director and Team Ico leader Fumito Ueda has quit Sony...
