Nirvana's Heart-Shaped Box has been confirmed as one of the line-up of songs to feature in Guitar Hero II, the you're-a-riff-tastic-rock-star rhythm action game for PS2 with a finger-flexing guitar peripheral.
Nirvana's sterling musical genius joins other guitar-shredding greats like Black Sabbath, KISS, Guns N' Roses and The Rolling Stones, making it one hell of a set list.
Take a look at the up to date, confirmed song list in full.

We're starting to get the feeling that God Hand is some immense practical joke we haven't been let in on yet: an unlikely enough PS2 action game to begin with, with every new movie it becomes more surreal.
Click the movies tab above for smack-talking, high-kicking hero Jean's latest run-ins with Wild West banditos, girl gangs, gorilla wrestlers, Shaolin monks, and vicious carnival performers.
God Hand is a supreme slice of Japanese weirdness - to the extent that it's

However, it's just as likely that these names are nothing more than working titles, with the eventual

One of Kratos' old enemies will be returning to stomp his albino ass into the ground in God of War II, the game's director, Cory Barlog, recently revealed in his blog. Barlog was also kind enough to provide a couple of screens of the big, bad boss fight, which we've put up behind our Images tab for your viewing pleasure.
The two new screens show Kratos squaring off against the Barbarian King, who's grown to gigantic proportions since their last encounter. Sharp-memoried fans will remember the

David Jaffe, the man behind the incredible PS2 game God of War, has been expressing his dissatisfaction with attempts to tell stories in games, on his consistently entertaining blog.
He says he is losing interest in games that are typically story driven and has "lost interest in making any kind of game that does not fully and only embrace interactivity in the most purest sense".
Jaffe then goes on to make one of the best/worst analogies ever to describe the role that
David Jaffe, the director of the God of War games, has revealed that work on the sequel is progressing so well that he is confident that the series could stretch to a third game.
Writing on his blog, he revealed his first impressions after playing the latest version of God of War II: "I can tell you that [God of War II ] is shaping up very, very nicely, I played a bunch of levels last week and it's really, really
As God of War II has a 2007 release date, we're all going to have to wait patiently before we can take control of the walking engine of murder that is Kratos. But to make the wait a little bit more bearable, we have some action-packed new shots of the sequel to share with you.
Now sitting on his throne in Olympus as the new god of war, Kratos is still a tormented soul, and so must get off his dusty ass to embark on a new quest to find some sort of salvation - which apparently means tearing
